Derrick Dyer     "The Franchise"  

After being born and raised in Bronx, New York, Derrick Dyer moved to Rochester, New York at the age of 14. Entering the City School District, he attended John Marshall High School. It was during the 
Track and Field season of his freshman year that he met who would become his lifelong friend, Artemus Cole. Along with Track and Field, Derrick was also a member of his Alma Mata's football and basketball teams, playing Wide Receiver and Point Guard (respectively). Proceeding graduation from High School, Derrick enrolled into Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) in Troy, New York. While at HVCC, along with his impressive involvement in football continuing as a dominant Receiver, he acquired an interest in acting, taking up acting well as an interest in production. Completing two years at HVCC, he received his Associates degree in Liberal Arts and obtained a footballscholarship to SUNY Buffalo (UB) where he majored in Communications, in Buffalo, New York.

While at UB, for two years, he balanced his time between his studies, starting for the UB Bulls football team and traveling as a model for various companies. Derrick sealed off his college career by receiving his Bachelors degree and went on to achieving some of his many goals. Keeping up with his love for football, Derrick became a member of the Rochester Raiders, playing Arena football and assisting his team in winning an Indoor League Football Championship. Also, in respect to acting, he casted in two episodes of Law and Order: SVU, and was a body double for Terrell Owens in his "Strike Against Hunger" commercial. To this day he continues to model for athletic apparel companies, the most notable being Don Aleson Athletics. As he continues to achieve, he does so knowing that “Everything happens for a reason"--- Derrick Dyer
