The point of a teaser trailer is to… tease the movie, right? Just show a little clip or two of something juicy, just enough to whet audience’s appetites but not give everything away.
That’s what a teaser trailer is supposed to be, anyway.
The new trailer for Horrible Bosses 2 isn’t really teasing the film’s storyline. Jamie Foxx just tells it to us straight away. Last time, our three disgruntled employees- Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day– were fed up with being employed by jerks and conspired to kill the higher-ups.
Now, in the sequel, they’re doing the same thing, but with kidnapping. Kinda feels like a step down, no?
But what the trailer does tease is Jennifer Aniston. Horrible Bosses part one saw her play a “sex crazed maneater.” At least, that’s what the poster said. And this time around she’s just as nuts, with the added benefit of being really really super repulsive.
I won’t tell you just what she suggests Jason Bateman do in this first trailer. But I will leave the trailer just below, in case you get curious.
