For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Ashley Cole. I was born and raised in Rochester, NY but currently I’m a senior Advertising major at Howard University struggling & surviving the mean streets of Washington, DC. I have a bubbly, jokester, mildly ratchet, yet reserved personality, which makes most people love me while others think I’m a little strange but they’re secretly just jealous and want to be me… At least that’s what I tell myself.
Anyway, ever since I was in high school I’ve been a story-telling chatterbox; family, friends, and random acquaintances & classmates would gather around to hear my “story of the day.” I was known as the girl with stories, so much so that some people were intimidated to tell their mediocre, non-detailed, futile stories in my presence… Well, what can I say? It’s a talent!
On a serious note, I just feel that because I’m curious about life and I lack the proper fear & danger senses that I should have, I am not afraid to explore the taboos and the “you shouldn’t do that” side of life. Needless to say, I do what I want, when I want, how I want and I gain intriguing stories from it thus causing my stories to have that “wow” factor that many have come to know & love.
In response to some minor complaints from friends claiming I’m blowing up their phones and limited data plans with my long drawn out text messages due to me not wanting to verbally tell the same story over & over again to everyone I know, I will be launching a blog beginning November 1, 2013 simply titled “Adventures of Ashley.” This blog will feature random events and happenings I come across on a regular basis. Please feel free to comment and tell me what you think or comment and tell me your stories!
