After Washington DC detective Alex Cross is told that a family member has been murdered, he vows to track down the killer. He soon discovers that she was not his first victim and that things are not what they seem.
The Alex Cross book series from James Patterson was originally brought to the big screen with Morgan Freeman playing the title character. Now days the torch has been passed to non other than Tyler Perry. The casting decision by director Rob Cohen came as a pretty big shock to everyone who follows the series but you can’t really argue that Perry is an accomplished actor/writer/director in his own right.
Tyler Perry’s resume is quite impressive because of the success he has had with his quirky comedy Madea franchise and now he can add action film star to that list of credits because this trailer does look VERY VERY GOOD.
