DirectTv held their celebrity beach bowl game this weekend in New Orleans and apparently one New Orleans native got into a little bit of a spat with a spectator at the event. Platinum rapper and mega-star Lil Wayne was caught on camera in a dispute yelling at someone.
What caused Lil Wayne to get upset isn’t quite clear, but during the presentation to the winning team he can be seen losing his cool with someone.
The White team had Matthew Bomer, Christine Teigen, Chace Crawford, Alicia Quarles, Josh Hutcherson, Tom Arnold, Nina Dobrev, Leah Gibson, Scott Porter, Eddie George, Maria Menounos, Lil Wayne and Lolo Jones.
While the Blue team was represented by Joshua Sasse, Snoop Dogg, A. J. Calloway, Jesse Williams, Mike Bettes, Anthony Anderson, Ian Somerhalder, Desmond Howard, Ryan Kwanten, Artie Lange, Warren Moon, Shawn Johnson, Hannah Davis and Katharine McPhee.
Everything was going great until after the game when Lil Wayne got into a confrontation with a spectator.
Wayne was caught on tape yelling “Look at me motherf*cker, look at me when you apologize!”
He had to be restrained by several participants and security guards. What led to the rapper’s meltdown is a mystery. Check out footage of the confrontation below.
