HOMOSEXUALITY in HIP-HOP is it ACCEPTABLE ?

What’s good world we are about to get into a very touchy topic this time around so this is a disclaimer: “The views and opinions expressed in this blog are not necessarily the views and opinions of Mindbender Ent and its affiliates.”

With that said lets get into it. WTF is going on with the state of hip-hop and your “GANGSTA RAPPERS” SMMFH if you have not seen the latest video of the “GREATEST RAPPER ALIVE” kissing Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta Star Stevie J look for yourself    and miss Joseline Hernandez had this to say about the “Bus Driver”

But really though 2 grown men kissing on the mouth live on stage? Where they do that at? apparently this is now OK?! Y’all allow this man to openly disrespect the Mecca of Hip-Hop and then he turns around to do this? Nah bruh bruh we not standing for it over here, keep all that SOO WOO sh*t to yourself your gangsta is not respected and your rapper card has been revoked, I’m calling for a BOYCOTT of a all things YOUNG MONEY! Ok…. off that and back to the topic at hand. For years now there has been allegations of some your favorite rappers on the downlow even when Ja-Rule and Murder Inc were on top DMX had this to say about Ja-Rule’s Closet activities @ at 6:14 of the interview
now for most of us who really follow this rap biz the rumor of Ja-Rule effing his stylist is rather old and 50 did have the same stylist talking sh*t on the Record “Backdown” on the “ Get Rich or Die Trying” album. These are just 2 examples of dozens of cases of closet Homosexuality in the hip-hop culture.
You have Birdman also kissing men as well as Jim Jones allegedly having a Transexual fetish as exposed in this Instagram  It seems these closet antics are running rampant and it’s found in more “ GANGSTA RAP” than any other genre of hip-hop. These dudes portray the image that they keep the tool on their belts like a handyman, and let bullets fly like Eli Manning in the 4th quarter. However they turn out to be closet chi-chi man or homo thugs? is there really a bunch of Omars (from the Wire) running around?
and the biggest question is, is this acceptable? The bravery that Frank Ocean showed for coming out is commendable, and actually a breath of fresh air. The reason being is that he refused to mislead the masses and his fan base and refused to live behind a facade. With that statement, Frank solidified  that he is what all the rappers say they are and that is REAL. (Take me as  I am my verses are going to reflect me and what I’ve been through I am an open book and I don’t need to fabricate anything for anyone.) With this mentality he will relate to who he wants to,  not who he is told to in order to sell music. A lot of these other rappers with their homo activities could learn a lesson from Frank .. stop trying to be Hugh Hefner when you’re really a closet Elton John or stop rapping how your bagging and effing the baddest chicks when you fantasize about Rupaul’s.
When these rappers are doing these down low things they make it ok for our children to do. Whether they like it or not some of the kids really look up to them and want emulate their lifestyle so for the 13-19 year old young black male who thinks Weezy is the best rapper ever is now being shown that its ok to kiss the same sex     .  Or for Niki Minaj rapping about eating a chicks @$$ makes little girls think its ok for them to be dealing with the same sex and that’s the norm. I’m just wondering if you all think this is ok? Is this something you would want for your child or is it something you yourself are involved in? My opinion, I look at it like this, just be REAL to yourself and those around you and to those you influence. If you’re gay then you’re gay  but don’t portray to be something you’re not, because the truth will always come to light. Please feel free to comment and express your opinions I would love to get a great dialogue going about this. Until next time I leave you this.
