It’s not quite Comic-Con yet. That’s this weekend. And so all the benefits of Comic-Con (i.e. anything you could possibly want to know about next summer’s gigantic releases, kept in a secret convention hall and not shown to anyone in the outside world) are not upon us quite yet.
One thing is, though. The first poster for Jurassic World. And it looks so good.

We’ve got a velociraptor. We’ve a crunched-up Jeep from the original park, being perched on by a velociraptor. And there’s some kind of civilization whirring in the background (a decent guess would be, oh, I dunno, Jurassic World), but all that’s not paying any attention to the raptor and his motor vehicle accident.
Also, look closely enough into that Jeep and you’ll find a nest of raptor eggs.
This will probably end poorly for everyone involved.
Also the color is great an the style is great and basically everything about it is great. Just with a slight cartoonish vibe, but still with all the menace appropriate for a franchise where people are regularly disemboweled by horrific beasts from the times long ago.

Comic-Con is this weekend, so expect all your dinosaur dreams to come true in a few short days.
