Michigan State and Jay have both said that it was a mutual agreement, and the school wishes him the best of luck. The Football player turned Full-Time rapper told the Inquirer “ I always had this in the back of my mind, But never had the courage to tell my parents that this is what I wanted to do”. Analyst are searching every database to find another choice like this. For now this is the first athlete to turn down a scholarship for something they never done professionally.

DatBull has an album release June 1st and has M. Stacks producing his whole project. As of today he has over 514,000 Youtube hits on the video that is below. He has a start Drake, Justin Beiber and a few others has launched their career based on a strong Youtube following.

After you watch the video you will realize he had to have made a decision before he put this up. He really would be out of his mind if he thought Michigan State was not going to say anything. On one hand I think it’s a very stupid decision, where he could have arrived in school and then pursued his career on their dime. But after watching his video and not understanding the music that the younger generation likes. Why can’t he be the next Soulja boy or Future? They all Ass anyway might as well put him up there with them. It will be interesting what happens with his career and how this story will end up. You be the judge after you watch the video.

Should he have stayed in school or is he right for following his dreams?
