When Fake Rap Meets Real Life Update!!
What’s the word when I read this I had to share it ASAP. For those who think that these GD threats are not real and that these dudes can’t stop ya movement and stop ya money here is the latest on Rick Ross vs GD’s –
Miami rap star Rick Ross canceled two
concerts in North Carolina this weekend, after police stated security would be beefed up over gang threats against the rapper.
Rozay had to cancel a concerts in Charlotte & Greensboro. No official reason has been given, but on the heels of the constant threats from the GD’s,and both areas being strong holds for the nation, its not hard to speculate why he would rather not do a show in those cities.
According to the Charlotte Observer, local police are on high alert, over numerous threats against Rick Ross in recent weeks, by factions of The Gangster Disciples.
The GD’s are bothered over the fact that Rozay supposedly backed out on some sort of agreement and over the usage of the Nations six-point star on the cover of his mixtape “The Black Bar Mitzvah.”
Freeway Ricky Ross, who is currently in court with Rick Ross, over claims that his image was hijacked by the rapper for commercial usage.
“It’s not just disrespectful to have crossed a line. But when you stay crossed. A fan brought to my attention you look at the guys twitter TONIGHT @rickyrozay the issue they have is front and center with their image being used,” Freeway Rick Ross went on to say. “It’s just like my name RICK ROSS and the blatant disrespect and profiteering despite a clear request to stop. It’s disrespectful!”
The concerts in North Carolina were supposed to feature the entire MMG team.
Live Nation Entertainment, which promoted the concerts, said refunds would be available beginning tomorrow (December 7).
