Wu-Tang’s The RZA stars in The Man With The Iron Fists

The Rza from hip hop’s legendary group The Wu-Tang Clan makes his directorial debut in this action kung fu film set in 19th Century China. The project boast a strong cast that includes Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu.  Quentin Tarantino signed on to produce the film, so this looks to be an all round entertaining film.

The Rza makes his film directorial debut and given the project he knows how to entice his audience.  He and Eli Roth wrote the screenplay and Quentin Tarantino produced the film.  The project was actually shot on location over in various parts of Asia. Never a slouch the Rza put together a cast of great actors that know how to bring characters to life.

I actually remember being on  a video shoot in Queens in late 2010 and someone who knows Rza personally expressed that he was working on a big film over in China. So all this time later to see this project completed and nearing release is exceptionally exciting for me.
