Floyd Mayweather will forever be plagued by the shadow of Manny Pacquiao. Whether it is an interview about his upcoming rematch with Marcos Maidana, he is constantly questioned about the Philipino boxer.
In a press conference in San Antonio, Mayweather was again approached with the Pacquiao question which he answered with some more digs towards the Filipino pugilist.
“For all the fans that’s out there screaming, ‘Pacquiao, Pacquiao,'” Mayweather said of the many many fans, “He still got Marquez problems.”
Mayweather was referring to the Juan Manuel Marquez who Pacquiao has had brutal wars with the fighter he was referring. Marquez in his last fight knocked the future Hall of Famer.
Mayweather is scheduled to fight Marcos Maidana in a rematch in September.
