Apparently a buzzing rumor in Hollywood is that there will be a Baywatch feature film and non other than Justin Timberlake is wanted for the lead role in the project. It has been reported that of course there are roles for David Hasslehoff and Pamela Anderson should they want to do the movie.
The movie would have Justin Timberlake as a disgraced former Olympic champion swimmer trying out for the Baywatch crew. I suppose you would have to think of a Michael Phelps like if he ever completely bottomed out. The film is set to be a comedy sort of the way “21 Jump Street” was done recently.
Justin’s most recent film project was the sci-fi thriller “In Time” last year.
As of late last year “Rescue Me” co-creator Peter Tolan had reportedly finished the script and along with his producers are attempting to get key cast members on board to secure funding for the movie. Ivan Reitman, Beau Flynn and Tripp Vinson are producing the project.
