The entire all-star cast of the 1999 comedy “The Best Man” will reunite for the upcoming sequel from Universal Pictures. The story sees these college friends reuniting over the Christmas holidays and discovering just how easy it is for long-forgotten rivalries and romances to be ignited.
Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Morris Chestnut, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Monica Calhoun, Melissa De Sousa and Regina Hall are all set to reprise their roles.
Malcolm D. Lee returns to write and direct, and the film is currently slated to hit cinemas on November 15th 2013.
Truthfully I’ve never seen this movie but I think if they were going to make a part 2 it should have been done by atleast 2005 or 2006. At this point how old are these character from the first film going to be? 1999 was 14 years ago…. This could be a decent movie or a disaster. Time will tell.
