A directionless young man helps his reporter brother investigate the possible wrongful conviction of a man on death row. In the process of the investigation he falls for the woman whom the convict has been romancing through prison correspondence.
Matthew McConaughey, Nicole Kidman, John Cusack, and Zac Efron star in this crime thriller from director Lee Daniels. After finding out there is evidence suggesting a man on death row was wrongfully convicted– these two brothers set out on a daring mission to prove the man’s innocence even as they risk there own lives. And one of them seems to fall in love with the woman that the convict has been exchanging romantic letters with.
