Who Is Supa Tha Lp?

Supa Tha LP, born Lamar Parker, was born on March 19, 1984 in Greensboro, North Carolina. Growing up as a child on the Eastside of Greensboro, Supa Tha LP was introduced to another side of music by one of his biggest influences, Dub C who inspired him to rap. Starting off rapping on each others porches, Supa Tha Lp took it to the garbage cans at Smith High School where he attended. This is where anyone with talent met to test their skills by battling and hopping in the cipher. While Supa Tha Lp listens to a variety of music, his major influences on music is Jay Z, Outkast, Slum Village, ODB, Wu Tang, UGK, and Lil Brother. He also has dreams of working with 9th Wonder. After graduating from Smith High School, Supa Tha Lp began writing and recording music. He put out two mixtapes titled “Supa Friends” and “You Can Call Me Weird”. Supa Tha Lp has a style like no other. His music makes you think while seeing the world through his eyes. He has performed at local places such as Blind Tiger, Club Drank, Churchhill, Laparandas, and was also featured on Power 97 radio with Southsides Finest. Supa Tha Lp is currently working on a new mixtape titled “Weirdo” which is sure to have the streets talking.
